On Thursday, the 133rd Engineer Company of Wyoming National Guard will return to Laramie after serving nine months in Bahrain. The company is set to arrive at the Laramie Regional Airport at 8:10 a.m. Deidre Forester, State Public Affairs Officer for the Guard, says that the homecoming ceremony will include speeches by Governor Matt Mead and Major General Luke Reiner...

At 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, the final Great Lakes Aviation plane departed from the Laramie Regional Airport and just an hour and a half later the first United Express plane was on the runway. The 30-seat EMB-120 carried 25 people to Denver International Airport according to Airport Manager Jack Skinner, who also noted that every United Express flight has departed on time through two days of service.

The Laramie Regional Airport will have a new carrier on Nov. 4th with SkyWest Airlines. Operating United Express flights, SkyWest will bring two daily flights to Denver on EMB 120's, which seat 30 people.

Come October 1st there may be some new planes in town. After getting two bids for Emergency Air Service (EAS), the Laramie Regional Airport has submitted SkyWest Airlines as their top choice of air carrier.
