Name Changes
The Albany County School District No.1 Board approved the new names of the Laramie Junior High School as well as the old Deti Stadium during their regular meeting Wednesday, May 10.
School District Renaming
Superintendent Jubal Yennie said the move is to avoid confusion about the names of the structures.
Drill at Old Deti Stadium
Director of State and Federal Programs Stuart Nelson said Laramie residents should not be alarmed when they see police and SWAT vehicles at the old high school stadium, as it is only practice.
