Casper Fire-EMS

At approximately 7:50 a.m. Casper Fire-EMS units were dispatched to a structure fire in the area of Yucca Circle, according to a recent press release on their social media page.

The investigation lasted 20 days and included multiple law enforcement, federal and fire agencies.

Natrona County Sheriff's Office Investigation Sergeant Taylor Courtney stated that the suspect, Jolene Good, allegedly lit a fire with her ex-boyfriend inside of a root cellar that was serving as a bunker. The bunker had been converted into a living quarters, presumably for the ex-boyfriend.

Casper firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a residence on Monday night.

Multiple agencies have responded to an incident near North Poplar and First Street, in which a vehicle drove off the road and into the North Platte River.

Both CPD and Casper Fire-EMS are investigating the incident. As of Thursday afternoon, no criminal activity is suspected.

Two people were taken to the hospital during a structure fire in Casper Wednesday morning.

Damage to the home was extensive to the point that it was left uninhabitable.

Video shows a house on fire in west Casper that caused enough damage to displace the occupants. Occupants were not home at the time of the fire, and pets were rescued, including a dog that was rescued by a neighbor through a window.

After a structure fire on Sunday that completely destroyed a storage shed, members of the Mike Sedar BMX Parents Association have launched a GoFundMe page to help offset the costs of damage to the structure and the loss of numerous parts of equipment, including bikes, helmets, trophies and more.
