Spooky Skate Night Provides Family-Friendly Halloween Fun
Toyota of Laramie and the Laramie Figure Skating Club are joining forces to host the Spooky Community Skate Night at the Laramie Ice and Event Center on Saturday, October 27th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Skaters of all ages and skill level are welcome to dress in costume and attend the event. Skaters and coaches from the Laramie Figure Skating Club and the Wyoming Collegiate Figure Skating Club will also be at the event to help new ice skaters learn the art of figure skating.
Skate rentals will be available at the event at the rate of $3 for children 5 and under, and $5 for adults.
There will also be a costume contest at the event, with prizes available in the following categories:
- Best Costume under age 10
- Best Costume age 10-17
- Best Costume over age 18
- Best Family Costume
For entry in the contest, individuals and families will need to get their photos taken at the event. The photos will then be posted on Facebook, where the number of shares, likes, and comments will determine the winners. Online voting will start at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
