Red-Clad Robber Strikes Another Cheyenne Convenience Store [PHOTOS]
A man suspected of robbing two Cheyenne Loaf 'N Jugs last week has struck again.
Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says the Diamond Shamrock at 115 N. Greeley Highway was robbed at gunpoint around 3 a.m. this (Monday) morning.
"The suspect today was wearing a red bandanna," said Malatesta. "It appears that he came into the store without a bandanna on, went into the bathroom and came out of the bathroom wearing that bandanna."
"Everything else matches the same way that the other robberies took place," Malatesta added. "The shoes were described as being the same as well."
Malatesta says the suspect, who was wearing a black Wyoming Cowboys shirt under his jacket, appears to be a young Hispanic male approximately 5'9" in height.
"The first one last Monday he was with two other people," said Malatesta. "The one from last Friday and the one today it appears that he's by himself."
Police have released surveillance photos from the robberies and are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or knows their whereabouts to call the Laramie County Combined Communications Center at (307) 637-6525 or Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS.
