Even though the University of Wyoming's Safe Ride program out of operation during the university's winter break, downtown partygoers will have a way to get home.

A-1 Towing is continuing their annual tradition of offering free rides in the Laramie community to Laramie area residents. 2017 marks the 20th year of the company offering free rides, which started to honor co-owner Nicole Candelaria's brother Cal, who was killed in a drunk driving accident.

The company will be providing the service, which also includes delivering drivers' cars to their homes, from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. However, A-1 does require that any cars driven by their employees to be fully functional and legally registered.

To arrange a ride, call A-1 Towing at 307-760-1213.
