Local Sports Calendar February 20-23

This might be one of the single busiest weekends of action for sports teams from Laramie High School and the University of Wyoming. There's a state culminating event, a conference championship and a regional championship, just to give a glimpse at how big this weekend is.

Cowboy Golf hosts the Wyoming Cowboy Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, CA @ 8:10 a.m. (First event of their spring season)

LHS Nordic Skiing @ Wyoming State Nordic Ski Meet in Cody, WY; 5 km Freestyle race @ 11 a.m.
Plainsmen Wrestling @ 4A East Regional Wrestling Tournament in Sheridan; matches begin at 3 p.m.
LHS Alpine Skiing hosts the Laramie Invite at Snowy Range Ski Area; slalom racing on Cheyenne run starts at 10 a.m.
