UPDATE: The City of Laramie will also be closing skate parks, basketball courts, volleyball courts, shelters and horseshoe pits.

In following the recommendations from the National Recreation & Parks Association and the Albany County Public Health Officer, the City of Laramie and Albany County School District are closing all playgrounds effective immediately.

This closure is in place to limit the spread of COVID-19 by eliminating touching surfaces. This closure will remain in effect until further notice.

Parks, trails, and green spaces that provide adequate room for physical distancing will remain open for the public to use in responsible ways that protect public health and safety.
