The Weekend Movie Forecast calls for a mild, bland outlook. Of the three movies opening today in Laramie, one rates a "C+" and the other two are down in the "D" range.
The best film in town will be the Psychological drama Side Effects, which shows only at 7 pm on Sunday, April 28th at the Wyo Theater, as part of a film series. A psychiatrist, played by Jude Law, of the Sherlock Homes movies, is the victim of a diabolical scheme that costs him his career and his family, but he isn't giving up without a fight.
Side Effects rates a "B+."
The new action Comedy opening this week, Pain and Gain, rates a "C+" and the new romantic comedy The Big Wedding rates a "D+"
The best holdovers here from last week are the science fiction film Oblivion, the baseball film Forty-Two and Jurassic Park 3D. These all rate a "B."
