Laramie Man Killed on Saturday Night [UPDATED]
UPDATE:
The Laramie Police Department is officially calling the death a homicide, and they have identified a suspect in the case. Questions about the suspect's identity and whether he was in custody could not be answered, as it is an ongoing investigation. More details are expected to come in later today.
A man was killed in Laramie over the weekend.
Laramie Police and the Fire Department responded to a 911 call at 10:12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26. They arrived at the 2000 block of Easterling where a male subject had been attacked, and was in need of an ambulance.
Laramie resident 59-year-old Clint J. Gartman was immediately taken to Ivinson Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Witnesses say that a male subject wearing a hooded sweatshirt was seen leaving the area just before the victim was found.
