Windy weather and some snow is in the forecast for southeast Wyoming going into Easter weekend, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.

The agency is calling for a two part wind event starting on Thursday (today). That's according to a special weather statement issued by the agency early today. The message included the following;

As of 10:30 Thursday morning, Cheyenne was under a High Wind Warning, while Laramie was just outside of the warning area.
