
Possible Snow, 65 MPH Winds In SE Wyoming Weather Forecast
Windy weather and some snow is in the forecast for southeast Wyoming going into Easter weekend, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency is calling for a two part wind event starting on Thursday (today). That's according to a special weather statement issued by the agency early today. The message included the following;

Key Messages ➔ High Wind Warnings in effect for southeast Wyoming. ◆ 6 PM tonight through 6 PM Friday. ➔ Central Carbon County remains a High Wind Watch from 6 AM through 6 PM. ◆ Lower confidence in the first half of the event. ◆ Short-fuse upgrade may be necessary later today
Part Two
➔ Part 2: 9 PM tonight to 6 PM Friday ◆ Along and behind a strong cold front moving through tonight. ◆ Typical wind prone areas, as well as central Laramie County. ◆ Gusts up to 70 mph in the wind prones. ◆ Gusts up to 65 mph in central Laramie County. ➔ High confidence is very strong winds, but exact duration is lower confidence. ➔ Portions of the Panhandle may see a brief, 60 mph gust behind the
As of 10:30 Thursday morning, Cheyenne was under a High Wind Warning, while Laramie was just outside of the warning area.
