Strong To Severe Thunderstorms Possible In SE Wyoming
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about possible strong to severe thunderstorms in southeast Wyoming this afternoon and evening.
The agency posted the following on its website:
''There is a Slight Risk for far northeastern portions of the area with a Marginal Risk for severe weather generally along and east of I-25. Isolated large hail and damaging winds are the primary concerns with any thunderstorm that develops, especially across western Nebraska. The lighter green Thunder Risk area is expected to predominantly see isolated dry thunderstorms, aka storms with lightning but little to no precipitation. Be weather aware as conditions could change rapidly.'
