Got Dirt? Cheyenne’s Newest Car Wash is Now Open.
I remember when the parking lot by Menard's had nothing in it. Then came Chic-Fil-A, then Firestone Tires. About a year ago, Tommy's Car Wash broke ground next door to Firestone. And as of a few days ago, Tommy's is officially open, totaling Cheyenne's automatic car washes to five (three Breeze Thru, Clean Wheels, and now Tommy's Express.)
Tommy's Express Car Wash Opens in Cheyenne
The official opening date of Tommy's Express Car Wash was January 20th. The site looks pretty futuristic, from the sleek design to the light show in the tunnel - yeah, the kids will love it. It's also Dually friendly - which, as we know, is a big deal in Wyoming. The car wash is open from 7:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day except Sunday, when they don't open until 8 a.m.
What Kind of Car Washes Does Tommy's Express Offer?
Tommy's Car Wash offers different levels of washes, just like the other automatic car washes in town. According to their website, Tommy's "#4 Quality Wash" starts at $7 a month and ranges up to $18 for the "#1 Works" wash. You can also purchase monthly memberships. And, as a mom with a toddler who likes to chuck cheerios around the car, I was glad to hear the vacuums and mat washers are free to use.

Tommy's Car Wash is a pretty well-known national chain. The first Tommy's opened in 1969 in Holland, Michigan. The chain has since opened sites from California to Florida. According to their website, Tommy's Express was 7th on the Professional Car Wash and Detailing Magazine list of Top 50 Conveyorized Car Washes in 2020.
