Imagine losing a GoPro camera in the snow and not finding it for a long time.

Then, imagine that when you do find it, and you play back the video, you see that somebody found it before you.

Their face was recorded.

Wyoming, 2021: Hiker loses a GoPro while on an adventure in the mountains.

The owner of the camera tells it this way:

This GoPro had been sitting in the snow for a long time.

When I finally found it, I charged it up and couldn't believe what I saw.

After four months of it sitting there, a big old black bear found it and not only managed to turn it on but also started recording himself playing with it.

Hands down the craziest thing I've seen!

CAUTION: Be prepared to see what it looks like to be in a bear's mouth.

The video is below.

Let's assume that the bear had no idea how to turn the camera on.

Yet, he did.

From there it's a matter of curiosity.

He wants to know what he found.

He sniffs it.

Licks it.

Nudges it around.

Below is an inside-the-mouth view. YUM!

Whatever it is, it doesn't seem like something to eat.

For a hungry bear, it's worth having a taste.

After examining the camera for a while the bear finally lets it go and the camera sits there until it runs out of power.

The jaws of that bear could have easily crushed the camera, but he never bit down on it that hard.

We still sit here wondering how he managed to turn it on. Did he bite down on the power button?
