Laramie Native Frank Crum is on the Denver Broncos
The dream has become a reality for former Laramie High School and University of Wyoming graduate Frank Crum. He’s now on an NFL 53-man roster. Crum survived the final cuts on Tuesday and is a member of the Denver Broncos. It is the 20th time in the last 21 seasons that at least one undrafted rookie free agent has made the Broncos opening day roster.
Crum is a Laramie native and starred for the Plainsmen on the gridiron from 2015 to 2017 (No. 61 in the photo). He signed with the University of Wyoming in February 2018. After a redshirt year, Crum played the last five seasons in the brown and gold as third generation Cowboy.
Now, he’s made it to the professional level.
Broncos’ general manager George Paton was very complimentary of Crum in an explanation of why they kept him.
All that hard work and perseverance has paid off. Congratulations, Frank!
