Ivinson Memorial Hospital Foundation will host the 3rd annual “Sportsman Raffle” extravaganza on Saturday, January 31. The event is being held in the Albany County Activities Building at the fairgrounds. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Only 750 tickets are available and may or may not be available at the door. Last year was a sellout.

Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase amenities in the Foundation Guest House. The Guest House is available for patients and family members who have extended stays at Ivinson for procedures or treatment.

The 2015 goal is to raise $35,000. At the event we will raffle 18 rifles. Ten of those will go to winners who may or may not be present. The other 8 will go to winners who purchase raffle tickets at the event.  Drawings include a door prize commemorative gun, a gun safe, assorted mystery guns and many other sporting items. Based on the attendance the past two years a crowd of 460 is anticipated.

“Last year’s net was nearly $32,000.  We hope to surpass that amount this year” said committee member, Guy Warpness, IMH Trustee and Foundation board member. “Every year the event gets bigger, better and more fun.”

For $25 you can purchase an event ticket that includes chili and tenderloin sandwiches, beverages and an opportunity to win a rifle from ten separate drawings. You may purchase additional tickets at the door or in advance at the West Laramie Fly Store or the IMH Foundation office.
