It’s not easy being a parent, so the parents at the Albany County Public Library have developed the Savvy Parent, a monthly series of programs. Classes are free and refreshments will be served. All classes begin at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room.

The Savvy Parent is divided into two tracks, one series for parents of preschool through 6th grade and the other for parents of children in 7th through 12th grade. There will be gift certificates for people who attend 4 or more classes and parents attending all six classes will be entered in a drawing for a Nook or a Kindle. The Savvy Parent is funded through a grant from the Albany County Public Library Foundation.  More Information>
