Albany County Commissioner candidate Maura Hanning is committed "to making this the best place possible to live."

That's one of the main reasons she's part of the county commissioners race in 2018. Hanning is one of 11 total candidates and one of seven Democrats on the primary election ballot for Tuesday, Aug. 21.

Hanning spoke with host David Settle during the "Laramie Live on KOWB" radio morning show. She stressed her background in water quality protection and discussed the Casper Aquifer in the county, the Pilot Hill Project, economic development within the county, the budget, transparency and more the day before the election.

The polls open at 7 a.m. Tuesday and close at 7 p.m.
