Today is Free Day at the Laramie Community Ice and Event Center.  All Albany County residents can enjoy public skate time from 1-3 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m.  Regular skate rental fees will apply; members of the public can always bring their own skates and safety equipment.

Laramie’s Ice and Event Center is home to roller skating and roller hockey during the off-season.

Currently, the ice is on.  The winter schedule varies, and detailed weekly schedules are available here.  The Ice and Event Center offers community public skating times as well as hourly rental of the ice for tournaments, leagues, clinics, birthdays, group parties, and school skates.

During the ice season, the Ice and Event Center offers a wide variety of activities including ice skating lessons, hockey, short track speed skating, curling, and broomball.

Those interested in checking the skating hours can call the Events Hotline at 721-3530.  The Ice and Event Center can be reached directly at 721-2161.
