Former Miss Wyoming Holly Allen To Star On ‘Big Brother’ Reality Show
The new season of Big Brother will feature a familiar face from Wyoming. Lander native Holly Allen, who won the Miss Wyoming USA pageant in 2011, was recently named a cast member on the long-running CBS network reality show.
Allen is no stranger to reality television. After moving to Los Angeles, the self-described "Wyoming country girl" turned model made headlines for dating former Bachelorette contestant Luke Pell. The couple reportedly split last year.
In her bio, Allen recalls her childhood adventures in the Wind River mountains where her family led guests across the Oregon Trail in a covered wagon. These days, she's gone from guiding fly-fishing excursions in Wyoming to leading wine safaris in California.
Allen is also an advocate for abused and abandoned animals and says she plans to use the television series as a platform to promote pet adoption and no-kill animal shelters. The 21st season of Big Brother premieres on June 25th.
