During the Showcase, customers can pick up an entry card at Copper Kettle, 209 South 2nd Street, then hit the streets to discover the joys of shopping downtown. Once the card is filled in, customers can turn their card into the last business they visit and be entered to win a $50.00 Downtown Gift Certificate.  Each business decides what level of participation is needed to gain a signature.

In February 2009, the Downtown Laramie Business Association, a non profit organization made up of business owners downtown, unveiled their “Meet Me Downtown Business Showcase”. The showcase was designed for all DLBA businesses to tell their story, reveal a new product or service, highlight a benefit of their company, tout a passion, explain their products and have a lot of fun doing it.
