The second annual Downtown Kickoff, a partnership between the Laramie Main Street Alliance and University of Wyoming Athletic Department will take place after the first home football game on September 8th, 5 to 8 p.m. on Grand Avenue between 1st and 2nd Streets downtown.

The Kickoff is a home-style “pep rally” featuring a meet and greet with UW athletes and their coaches, a youth carnival, live music with Basmati, a UW and downtown merchandise raffle along with local BBQ and brews from Altitudes.

Downtown Kickoff participants can bid on brown and gold themed merchandise as well as purchase discounted (up to 60%) event and football game tickets. Raffle itemsare currently on display at the Main Street office, 207 Grand Avenue, along with participating retailers: Dodd’s Shoes, the Knothole, Copper Kettle, Back of the Wagon Antiques and the Curiosity Shoppe.

The Downtown Kickoff is a fundraiser for the Laramie Main Street Alliance who strives to preserve historic downtown Laramie while enhancing its economic development and social vitality.
