Cowboys in the NFL: Week 6

LARAMIE -- Josh Allen threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns in the Bills 24-20 victory Sunday inside Arrowhead Stadium. No other quarterback in the NFL has as many touchdown passes (17) or yards (1,980) than the former Wyoming gunslinger.

Yes, this was a rematch of arguably the greatest playoff game of all time. You might recall, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, with just 13 seconds remaining in regulation, drove all the way down to the Buffalo 31-yard line before Harrison Butker drilled a 49-yard field goal to force overtime.

Allen's lone mistake of the night was not nailing the coin flip.

Mahomes found Travis Kelce in the corner of the end zone from eight yards out to lift the Chiefs to a 42-36 win.

Did this feel like redemption?

"Nothing we did last year translates to what we're doing this year," Allen told the Associated Press postgame. "What happened in the past, that's where it is. All we can do is focus on the next one. Today was the next one."

Logan Wilson -- Linebacker - Cincinnati Bengals

Logan Wilson tallied four tackles in a 30-26 victory over the Saints Sunday in New Orleans. The linebacker from Casper suffered a shoulder injury in the win and is listed as "week-to-week." Cincinnati's head coach Zac Taylor said the team should know more about the severity of Wilson's injury Wednesday after further evaluation. Wilson had offseason surgery on that same shoulder and missed time last season. He currently has 37 tackles, a pair of stuffs and an interception this season for the defending AFC Champions.

Chad Muma- Linebacker - Jacksonville Jaguars

The rookie linebacker didn't record any stats in a 34-27 setback against the Colts Sunday in Indy. Chad Muma has recorded five tackles this season.

Andrew Wingard - Safety - Jacksonville Jaguars

Andrew Wingard didn't record any stats in the Jaguars 34-27 loss Sunday in Indianapolis. The former Wyoming safety has just six tackles so far this season, playing mostly on Jacksonville's special teams units.

Mike Purcell - Defensive tackle - Denver Broncos

Denver's nose tackle tallied three tackles in the Broncos 19-16 overtime loss to the Chargers Monday night inside SoFi Stadium. Mike Purcell and the defense certainly aren't at fault for the current three-game losing skid. During that time frame, the former Cowboy has nine tackles. He has 17 stops, three tackles for loss and a sack this season.

Carl Granderson - Defensive end - New Orleans Saints

A week after suffering an eye injury, Saints defensive end Carl Granderson played just 23 snaps in a 30-26 setback against the Bengals in New Orleans. Granderson didn't record any stats in the loss. He has 11 tackles, two tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks this season.

Marcus Epps - Safety - Philadelphia Eagles

This former Wyoming walk-on registered five tackles as the Eagles moved to 6-0 on the season with a 26-17 win over rival Dallas Sunday night in Philadelphia. Marcus Epps, who has played every snap on defense for the Eagles this year, now has 33 stops and two tackles for loss to begin his fourth pro season.

Tashaun Gipson - Safety - San Francisco 49ers

The longest-tenured former Wyoming player in the NFL, Tashaun Gipson, racked up nine tackles out of the Niners secondary in Sunday's 28-14 loss in Atlanta. Gipson, who is in his 11th season, has 23 tackles, 0.5 sacks and an interception through six games.

* Chase Roullier - Center - Washington Commanders: Injured in Week 2 and will miss the rest of the season.

* Jacob Hollister - Tight end - Minnesota Vikings: After spending training camp with the Raiders organization and subsequently being released, Jacob Hollister is back in the NFL. The former UW tight end inked with Minnesota last week and has joined the practice squad.

* Tyler Hall - cornerback - Las Vegas Raiders: The former UW cornerback is back in the NFL. Tuesday, Tyler Hall joined the Raiders' practice squad after spending last season with the Super Bowl champion Rams.

* Tanner Gentry - Wide receiver - Buffalo Bills: According to the Bills website, the former Wyoming wide out is back on the practice squad after playing a week ago versus Pittsburgh.
