Converse County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Nonviolent Fugitive

Authorities in Converse County are looking for a man who is reportedly evading arrest.

The Converse County Sheriff's Office says the public is not at risk and the fugitive is wanted on nonviolent charges.

However, the sheriff's office on Friday asked people to not pick up hitchhikers and to lock all vehicles and residences.

The sheriff's office also asked people to immediately report any suspicious person or activity, including an accurate location and description, by calling 307-358-4700.
