I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and spent most of my time through high school in the state of Texas. Following that I made a big jump and moved to Laramie, Wyoming where I attended the University of Wyoming and received a degree in Marketing. I love the outdoors and often go camping, hiking, climbing and skiing. When I'm not outside I can be found tinkering around and experimenting with electronics. I'm also a huge movie buff with a huge collection that could rival a rental store (Do those still exist?). There are lots of great movies out there but none can beat Tommy Boy in my book; comedy rocks! At Townsquare Media Corporate, I work with the Live Events and Digital departments running the websites and Social Media for concerts and festivals in cities across the US.

Is This Year the Start of Another Drought? – Survey of the Day
After last winter's above average snowfall and subsequent flooding, this year's run-off levels can't even begin to compare. With the abundance of water provided by snow-pack these past few years, which has brought Wyoming out of nearly a decade of drought, water shortages have certainly not been a hot issue.
However you have to wonder if this year's below average snowfall will continue, leading into another drought that could lower the water levels in lakes and cause irrigation problems for local agriculture.

Ask The City: Will There Ever Be a Path Around Kiwanis Park?
Your Question:
I was just wondering if Parks & Rec will ever place a jogging track around Kiwana's Park? I know it was in the plans back in the 90's, but it never came about. It would be nice to have a place to walk/run without getting muddy when it rains.

Which Out of Business Laramie Restaurant Do You Miss Most? – Survey of the Day
It's an unfortunate part of the business world, but for one reason or another some businesses just can't make a go of it and have to close their doors or change ownership. Laramie is no exception, especially due to tough economic times that have cause many people to stop buying items that aren't absolutely essential including food at restaurants.
