Ask The City: 21st and Reynolds

The Question:

Are there plans to put traffic lights at 21st and Reynolds? It is nearly impossible to turn left from any direction, and especially from 21st, during a normal time of day. During school hours in the morning and after school, the intersection is a nightmare!

“There are no plans to install a traffic signal or additional controls at 21st and Reynolds. However, a traffic signal study for the intersection at 22nd and Reynolds Streets. is programmed for the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 budget cycle. It is anticipated that a signal at this intersection should alleviate some congestion at 21st and Reynolds as well, by improving traffic flow within a several-block radius overall.”
