Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen continues to work his way back from sprained AC joint in his right throwing shoulder.

The junior visited with the media in his weekly press conference for the first time since the injury occurred at Air Force on Nov. 11. This came on the heels of the Cowboys receiving an invitation and accepting Sunday to play in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

Allen has a desire to play in this bowl game as his rehab progresses. Even Coach Bohl, who was not in attendance, but out recruiting, called in and said signs are pointing toward Josh Allen being 100 percent by the game on Dec. 22. Allen also talked briefly about the match-up, their focus on finishing strong and more.

Wyoming has gone 0-2 without Allen as its starting QB. The Pokes lost to Mountain West runner-up Fresno State on Nov. 18 and at San Jose State Nov. 25.

UW will face Central Michigan in Boise, ID at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22.
