The Albany County Public Library (ACPL) is hosting a Winter Reading Challenge through March 31.

The challenge consists of a list of 25 books, with challenge items including: a book checked out from ACPL, a book set in or about Wyoming, and a non-fiction book.

While completing the challenge readers will log the books they are reading on a log, which can be printed from this link. Once a reader completes four books on the list, they are to bring the list in to the library to have their name entered for the weekly drawing and the grand prize.

Readers who finish the list will get an extra entry in the drawing. Challenge participants will also receive extra entries for every book they post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #ACPLWinterReads.

Librarian Megan Richardson said of the challenge, "We wanted to do something in the winter for adults since summer is so focused on keeping children reading, and winter is a good time to cuddle up on the couch with a warm drink and read."

Weekly prizes are drawn on Fridays and include reusable grocery bags and pint glasses the the ACPL logo. The grand prize is a donated Kindle HD.
