The Laramie Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) is hosting an adoption event on Saturday, February 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at their facility, located at 2nd and Russell.

Although there will only be around a dozen cats and kittens available at the event, LAWS currently has more than three dozen cats available for adoption. Most of the cats are currently living in foster homes.

All potential pet owners will need to fill out an application and be approved by LAWS before taking their pet home. Applications will be available at the event or may be found at this link.

All cats and kittens up for adoption have had their first set of shots, have been spayed or neutered, and have been microchipped. There is a $45 adoption fee for each cat.

For those not ready to commit to owning a pet, LAWS is also looking for foster owners. In addition to cats, LAWS also fosters dogs. Individuals who are interested in fostering LAWS animals can click here for more information.
