Social Distancing is the cool thing to do right now. For some of us, we've been practicing for these skills to be called on for our entire lives. Others among us are struggling, as our extroverted minds watch Netflix and try desperately to stay busy enough to not think about all of the fun things we could be missing out on. It's worth it! We're doing our part to help our community!

But there's only so much Netflix you can watch. There's only so much of your house you can clean before you run out. So I was stoked when I found that there are 12 fantastic museums that are offering virtual tours-- and you don't even have to leave the comfort of your couch! Check this out.

British Museum, London

Who wouldn't want to see the actual Rosetta Stone, and famous Egyptian Mummies? (We can just forget the fact that last year there was a mummy in a black sarcophagus that wasn't supposed to be opened and they just... opened it... right?)

Guggenheim Museum, New York

From famous works of art to the iconic spiral staircase, Google Street view lets you view the Guggenheim without ever leaving home. Broaden your art horizons and introduce your little ones to some inspiration for their finger paintings!

National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.

With two different online exhibits to explore, you can step back in time to either the 1740s or 1895 with these art exhibits in the Nation's Capital. And again, no airfare to get you there.

Musée d’Orsay, Paris

Get a peek at artworks from Monet, Cézanne, and Gauguin and walk through this french art museum with pieces from 1848 to 1911!

National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul

Korea's most popular museum is 6 floors and you can check out every single floor with google's street view today!

Pergamon Museum, Berlin

"This historical museum is home to plenty of ancient artifacts including the Ishtar Gate of Babylon and, of course, the Pergamon Altar." One of Germany's most popular museums, it's empty right now as the country practices social distancing, but you can still experience the fantastic exhibits.

Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam

Feel like you're really there among the Rembrandts and Vermeers as you wander the halls of this museum and see artwork from the Golden Dutch Age.

Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam

I totally toured this one just because I remember is from the Doctor Who Episode where they bring the actual Van Gogh to see his impact on the world... Either way, it's 100% worth checking out. Both the museum and that episode, cause it'll make you cry. You've been warned.

National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico City

This neat museum shows the pre-colonial history of Mexico and Central America, with 23 different rooms to explore, including artifacts from the Mayan empire and Incan civilization.

So while the kids are out of school and you're socially distancing, travel around the world, broaden your horizons and check out museums around the world! Just because you're stuck at home during the pandemic doesn't mean you have to stare at your wall, you can still enrich yourself and explore the beautiful world we have.

P.S: Check on your extrovert friends. We are not okay.
