The United States Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake at around 2:30 Saturday afternoon.

It happened about 23 miles east of Hoback, Wyoming, which is south east of Jackson, northeast of Bondurant.

The magnitude was 4.8 on the Richter Scale, but the quake was roughly 6 miles deep, so, although the quake was felt faintly in Jackson, there was no damage.
