Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative Launches Its New 365 Campaign
On average, every single day, a Wyoming woman or man receives a breast cancer diagnosis.
Wyoming, we can do better.
This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. Both my mother and sister are breast cancer survivors.
I first hand understand the special challenges that Wyoming families have when trying to get care. I myself underwent a preventive mastectomy and had to travel almost 5 hours one way to receive care.
The Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative (WBCI) has a mission to increase breast cancer awareness and prevention across Wyoming. Since 2016, the WBCI has raised funds through various volunteer-led events throughout the state that are then granted into community breast cancer organizations and into a statewide early detection voucher program.
WBCI was formed when the Susan G. Komen organization left Wyoming at the end of 2016 because the state affiliate could not meet their new national requirements to raise $1 million annually. A group of 26 volunteers who were passionate to continue breast cancer awareness and prevention organized the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative (WBCI).

Your donation of $1 a day for 365 days will allow Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative (WBCI) to change the future for Wyoming women, men, and their families through WBCI community grants and vouchers.
The objective of the 365 Campaign is to build capacity and sustainability for WBCI through pledges from individuals, foundations and businesses.
Donors can choose to donate $1 a day for the length of 1-5 years (or more).
These donations can be made anonymously, in honor of someone, or in the memory of a loved one.
