Wyoming Lottery officials unveiled WyoLotto's newest game, Lucky for Life, Monday morning in Cheyenne.

Tickets for the new game went on sale yesterday and WyoLotto CEO Jon Clontz says "everything went off without a hitch."

"Sales went really well," said Clontz. "I think we sold 11,000 tickets."

Lucky for Life, which is WyoLotto's third multi-state game behind Powerball and Mega Millions, features a jackpot paying $1,000 a day for life. Drawings will be held every Monday and Thursday evening.

"People aren't going to follow it for the jackpot, they're going to buy it because of that chance to win a grand a day," said Clontz. "It's only two bucks and so it's a real playable game."

"There's twenty other states that participate and contribute to the jackpot," Clontz added. "Those states are creating a lot of winners, so I'm excited about the winners I'm seeing and I think we're going to see a lot here."

Clontz says not only will Lucky for Life provide more entertainment value for players, it'll also generate more revenue for the state.

"There's not a lot of overhead to manage the game," said Clontz. "My goal is to take every penny available and put it into the treasury."
