Warning: Watch For Rockfall In Wyoming’s Canyons
Watch for falling rock in the canyons. This large rock fell early Tuesday evening on the edge of US20/WY789 near the north end of Wind River Canyon
Cody Beers of the Wyoming Department of Transportation said at this time of year coming into spring, the cycle of freezing and thawing causes rocks to move downhill.
Beers said this large rock was removed by mid-evening on Tuesday.
