A fairly quiet week of weather is expected in southeast Wyoming this week, according to forecasters with the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.

The agency posted this statement on its website on Monday morning:

''A fairly quiet week expected over the area with little precipitation overall. Temperatures will vary as a couple of cold fronts affect the area, mainly today then again on Wednesday. Tuesday and Friday will be the warmest days. A few flurries or sprinkles over the plains this morning with the next chance for some precipitation on Wednesday."
