UW Study Shows Benefits of Pairing California and Wyoming Wind
A recent study conducted the University of Wyoming's Wind Energy Resource Center has found that combining Wyoming wind energy with California wind and solar energy will reduce the current intermittency of our power supply.tud.
The study, authored by University of Wyoming professor Jonathan Naughton, was conducted over the course of 1 year. Over the year, the study found that Wyoming wind is strongest during the day, whereas California wind is strongest at night.
This study is the latest in a series of studies and reports that detail the benefits of incorporating Wyoming wind energy with California energy.
