An attorney for the University of Wyoming today filed a motion seeking to have the Albany County District Court alter or amend its ruling regarding UW’s presidential search process.

The filing comes in light of the Wyoming State Legislature’s passage of House Bill 223, which specifically exempts records related to UW and community college presidential searches from public disclosure under the Wyoming Public Records Act. Gov. Matt Mead allowed the measure to become law without his signature on Friday.
