Downtown Laramie welcomes two new restaurants  into the historic district this week. The Crowbar and Grill, located at 202 South 2nd Street opened to standing room only crowds on Friday night and by the early hours of Saturday morning was sold out of food and beverages. Owners Andy Glines and Justin Turner regrouped over the weekend, posting a sign in their window stating, “Closed until further notice. Probably Monday. You guys ate and drank everything last night.”

The Crowbar and Grill reopened on Monday and is now open for lunch and dinner.

The Crowbar and Grill’s menu features homemade appetizers, salads, burgers and pizzas with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Among some of the soon to be favorites are the Crowbar: a burger and Italian sausage blend with mozzarella and basil and a unique appetizer: fried avocado served with a spice white wasabi sauce.

Glines and Turner plan to expand the restaurant menu depending on what is in season and available locally. In addition to the bar menu, patrons to the Crowbar can enjoy beers from small breweries in Wyoming, Colorado and Oregon as well as some old favorites like Rainer and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
