The Big Game, Wyoming vs Nebraska – Parting Shots

This past week was the "Big Game", and we survived for the most part. We were good hosts to our guests from Nebraska.  The energy in Laramie this weekend was pretty amazing.  We performed like expected, although I must admit that I had high expectations; hoped that we could somehow pull out the win.  We played really well in the first half, and maybe the Huskers were a little nervous!  We kept the the score close, and were only down 7 points to the number 9th team in the nation at half time.

We have a lot to be proud of; we are still Cowboys! We are 3-1 with our only loss to a top 10 school. I am hopeful about the season and looking forward to conference play. Make your plans now to come to the three remaining home games: Homecoming against UNLV October 15 at 12 noon, TCU November 5 at 12 noon, and New Mexico November 19 at 12 noon.  Let's fill the stadium and support the Pokes!!
