Wyoming High School Girls Swimming and Diving State Championships

Laramie won the 4A girls’ swimming and diving state championship for the seventh time in the last eight seasons on Saturday in Cheyenne.

It may be a new head coach but it was the same result for Laramie, who captured the Class 4A Girls Swimming and Diving State Championship on Saturday.

While Green River snapped a 43-year title drought at the Class 3A girls’ swimming and diving state championships, a few more storylines were created last Saturday.

Laramie won their fourth straight team crown, but there were many highlights to the 2020 Class 4A Girls Swimming and Diving State Championships.

Behind wins in six events, the Laramie Plainsmen won the Class 4A Girls’ Swimming and Diving State Championship for the fourth consecutive year on Friday.

The goal of four in a row has been in front of the Laramie Lady Plainsmen swimming and diving team all season. Now, they’ll try to finish the journey on top.

The 2020 Wyoming High School Girls Swimming and Diving State Championships will be in Laramie Thursday through Saturday.
