Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Cheyenne and Interstate 25 between the Colorado state line and Cheyenne are closed to light, high-profile vehicles due to gusting winds.
The Snowies could see 5 to 9 inches of snow and winds gusting as high as 55 mph through Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
Temperatures in southeast Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle are expected to stay in the single digits today, with some areas, including Cheyenne, remaining below zero the entire day.
