Jacqui Pulley squeezed in a header between a defender and the Cheyenne East keeper in the 78th minute to give the second-ranked Laramie Lady Plainsmen a 3-2 victory over the top-ranked Lady T-Birds last night.

After forcing an extra four minutes of action, a missed lay-up and a turnover proved costly for the Laramie Plainsmen. They fell in their first round game at the 4A East Regional Basketball Tournament to the host Cheyenne South Bison, 62-59, on Thursday.

The Laramie High School basketball teams are back on the road tonight, as they face-off against the East Thunderbirds in Cheyenne. It's the second to last game of the regular season for both squads. The girls'-boys' doubleheader will be at East High School.

There's just three weekends left in the high school basketball regular season in Wyoming. Both Laramie High School teams will start the second round of 4A East Conference action against Gillette and Sheridan Friday and Saturday.
