The Albany County Sheriff’s Office is urging people to be cautious after some Albany County residents were recently exposed to scam phone calls.

The Laramie Police Department is urging Laramie residents to use caution when drinking in a public setting, after receiving information that two women have been recently admitted to Ivinson Memorial Hospital after possibly consuming “date rape” drugs.

E. coli occurs naturally in the digestive tracts of animals and people but can make people sick with flu-like symptoms.

Wind gusts up to 70 mph are possible, with a peak wind gust at 90 mph was reported at the Laramie Airport.

The warning will be in place until 6:15 p.m. tonight. According to the warning, the flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Albany County, including the area of I-80 between mile markers 298 and 308.

The National Weather Service of Cheyenne has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska this May 26, 2017.

A winter storm warning has been posted for a large area of southwest Wyoming, including the cities of Rock Springs, Green River, Evanston and Pinedale.

The city says dangerous ice conditions exist due to changing weather conditions, increased cattails along the edges of the lake and pond, and the lake aerator located in LaBonte Lake.

Frostbite can occur in less than five minutes in such conditions, so dress appropriately if you go outside and take extra care to protect extremities such as fingers, toes, ear lobes and the tip of your nose.

West winds with sustained speeds of 35-50 mph are expected with gusts to 65 mph.
