University of Wyoming Class hosting Benefit For Botswana

Benefits from the event will go to funding for a water spigot and a community garden for an orphanage and village in Pandamentenga, Botswana.

The IMH Foundation reports that 26.4 percent of IMH patients came from outside Albany County in 2009 and 818 of the total 2103 patients that were discharged from IMH were from other communities. The Fine Arts Concert Hall will host another award winning vocalist this weekend with the vocal performance of Julie Fowlis. The Gaelic Ensemble performance will begin at 7:30pm Sunday, November 6th. Fowlis is a native of Scotland and was named both Gaelic Singer of the year for 2007 and the BBC's Folk Singer of the Year in 2008.
