The Albany County Fairgrounds is preparing for the annual Snowy Range Music Festival which takes place August 30th through September 1st.

Any time you can offer 33 shows on 3 stages over the course of 3 days, it will get people's attention, and that is something the Albany County Tourism Board greatly appreciates. The 2012 Snowy Range Music Festival is boasting a top notch lineup with something for everyone, which will likely bring a few thousand music lovers to the Gem City over Labor Day weekend.

The Snowy Range Music Festival has added their headliner for Sunday and it's a fantastic flashback to the 80's. Huey Lewis And The News will perform at the Albany County Fairgrounds on Sunday, Sept. 2 at 11 a.m.

With all due respect to Mother's Day, there are other holidays and events that many of us are more eagerly awaiting in the coming months. While the sheer idea of consistent enough temperatures to spend time outside is exciting, there are a few big national and local events set to occur over the summer that many of us are already anticipating.

Last night the Neville Brothers made Laramie move their hips and get more funky!  It was amazing to have the Neville Brothers in Wyoming and on a stage so close you felt like you were part of an intimate concert.  The Neville Brothers are so good at their craft it's a seamless music spectacle for the senses.
