A Cheyenne man was sentenced today in Albany County District Court for his part in an armed robbery at the Fairfield Inn in Laramie on New Year’s Day 2013.
The robbery of a bank in Casper, and subsequent arrest of two suspects, is tentatively being linked to robberies in both Laramie and Rock Springs, according to multiple law enforcement agencies.
Two suspects are in custody following an attempted bank robbery and resulting police chase, which ended with the suspect vehicle crashing near a Central Casper home.

Jacob Scott Anderson was arrested after allegedly confronting a Wells Fargo Bank employee with a gun in the parking lot in Laramie on Tuesday morning according to the Laramie Police Department. The LPD says they arrested the would-be bank robber thanks to the quick action taken by the bank employee and witnesses who called dispatch to relay Anderson's description and location.
