The University of Wyoming cut the ribbon today on the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center

Cavalryman Steakhouse, located on the ground of historic Fort Sanders, announced today that it will be re-opening this weekend with a renewed focus on its legacy as an historic Wyoming steakhouse.

The University of Wyoming today (Thursday) unveiled its new Literacy Research Center and Clinic, a state-of-the-art facility in the College of Education Annex that will support literacy initiatives across the state.

The University of Wyoming will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Literacy Research Center and Clinic at 11 a.m on Thursday, March 27.

Thursday, City of Laramie officials cut the ribbon to their new landfill facility.

The ribbon was cut Wednesday night on the visitor center baring the name of the legendary broadcaster, family man and Wyoming native: Curt Gowdy.

The ribbon was cut on the new offices for the Laramie Workforce Center on Friday afternoon. Workforce Center manager Annette Mello says the new space creates a one stop shop to serve the community.

A new facility is now offering teaching studios and spaces for art history, ceramics, drawing, foundations of art, graphics, painting, printmaking, sculpture and small metals. It's the new Visual Arts Building at the University of Wyoming.
