Former Vice President, Casper native, and Natrona County High School graduate Dick Cheney appeared alongside his daughter, Liz on Thursday to acknowledge the one-year anniversary of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol; an attack that left 5 people dead.
The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol insurrection has issued subpoenas to three extremist organizations, including the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers as well as their leaders.
"I know you're posturing for the secessionist vote, Ted," Cheney stated. "But my party, the Republican party, saved the Union. You swore an oath to the Constitution. Act like it."
Congresswoman Liz Cheney recently appeared on Fox News to discuss a myriad of issues, including how she believes Republicans can move forward in a post-Trump America.
"Joe Biden wants to give the IRS more power to spy on Americans," Barrasso said. "That's what he's asking for. Just listen to the testimony of his Secretary of Treasury who comes to congress and says she wants to look into the checking accounts, banking accounts of anybody with deposits or withdrawals $600. Republicans are committed to stopping this."
Barrasso said the Biden Administration has failed the American people so far in their time in the White House. He said President Biden has not given the American people what they want.
Republicans are blasting President Joe Biden, threatening lawsuits and going as far as to call for civil disobedience to block his new vaccination mandates.
