The University of Wyoming's new Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, Kevin Carman, has started working full-time on June 7 after working half-time for several weeks. Once the campus interviews are complete, Nichols will recommend a selection to the UW Board of Trustees.

The search committee's initial goal of identifying finalists for the position of vice president of academic affairs and provost in the spring semester has proven unattainable.
