The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a "person of interest" in a fraud case.

A 42-year-old Cheyenne woman who Laramie County deputies were looking for in connection with a fatal Monday morning stabbing is now behind bars.

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is searching for a person of interest following an early morning fatal stabbing in south Cheyenne.

Police are investigating after a man was shot in south Cheyenne Wednesday evening.

Officers arrived and found a dead 15-year-old girl.

The backpack reportedly contained a computer and personal items, estimated to be worth $1,700 in total.
